Bardstown Elementary School is currently taking registration for the following Youth Clubs:
Cyber Tigers is a perfect build of fun, imagination, and learning! Students will upgrade their team-building skills as they work to complete fun challenges in robotic design and computer programming. They will use basic machine principles to create robots capable of performing simple tasks as students work in teams to plan, build, test, and modify their own robotic creations! If you have a 4th or 5th-grade student that is interested, don’t delay in registering. Space is limited to the first 10 students for each grade level. The current club semester will run from March 12-May 2, 2024. Cyber Tigers will meet in the BES Tech Lab from 2:25-3:25pm. 5th grade will meet on the following Tuesdays: 3/12, 3/19, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23 and 4/30. 4th grade will meet on the following Thursdays: 3/14, 3/21, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25 and 5/2. Tiger Beats is a group of 4-5 grade students that will learn how to bucket drum. This percussion instrument is fun and full of rhythm! We will have a few performances throughout the year for our friends, parents and community members. Tiger Beats will meet on Wednesdays in the music room from 2:30-3:30pm. The Tiger Beats Club will meet starting August 23rd. Students will have one performance at the end of the session. Registration is due by August 17th, accompanied by the $25.00 FEE. Tiger Tunes is a choir for students in 2-5 grade. This group will sing, move and play! We will be learning fun songs to perform for our friends, parents and community members. Tiger Tunes will create together on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30 in the music room. The Tiger Tunes Club will meet beginning January 23rd – March 5th. Students will have two performances. Registration is due by January 19th, accompanied by the $25.00 FEE. School of Stomp is a Step Club Team for students in 4th & 5th grade. School of Stomp will create together on Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 in the music room. Legos are a limitless world of construction, where the student is the designer, builder, and storyteller of their own creations.

2023-24 BES 5th GRADE ADVANCED LEGO CLUB REGISTRATION FORM
Come join the BES 5th Grade Advanced Lego Club! Now open for boys and/or girls in 5th Grade only (as of Fall 2023).
The LEGO Club is a fun way to get Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education while exercising your imagination skills all in one place. The club meets once a month, open to students in 5th grade and promotes thinking skills, patience, and creativity. Legos are a limitless world of construction, where the student is the designer, builder, and storyteller of their own creations. Students will be constructing advanced Lego kits and MUST be able to independently follow multi-step directions with minimal guidance. Limit of 10 students.
When (Meeting Dates): November 1st, December 6th, January 3rd, February 7th, March 6th, May 1st

Join the Bardstown Chess Club and practice critical thinking, problem solving, and improve concentration. Learn exciting new variations of an age-old game like: Atomic Chess, Anti-Chess, and Horde. Chess Club is for boys and girls, grades 3rd – 12th. Chess Club meets after school on Fridays immediately after school until 4:30 or 5:00 (two pick up times offered) in the BES Cafeteria. Bussing will be provided (ride bus 6) for BMS and BHS students. Chess Club is open to all skill levels and no previous chess experience is necessary.
Registration is due by March 8th, accompanied by the $25 FEE for one quarter (session 4) or $50 for the year (starting in the Fall). Coached by 2018 Bardstown Chess Champion, Alan the Tailor.
Youth tumbling focuses on basic tumbling/gymnastic skills. Practice is held once a week. Grades K-2 will have practice from 2:45-3:30 on Tuesdays. Grades 3-5 will practice on Thursdays from 2:45-3:30.
All practices will be held at the the BES Cafeteria.
